I have bought this DVD for sometime but only tried it recently. Wow I love it! It helps to build stamina and tones at the same time.  It is doable and pushes you at the same time.  I don't feel any impact on the knees. Although I'm using only 1lb weights, I really feel the burn.  Due to limited space, I'm using a ropeless jump rope by Showpin. I feel that it gives you a better workout than going without a jump rope at all as the ropeless jump rope still keeps your upper body engaged during the cardio section.  I really hope that the Round One Lower Body that is now available for streaming on Aeropower's website will be made available on DVD too. I will buy it in a heartbeat.

Just when you think you're going to pass out from punching or other upper body torture,you get a short break and move on to jumping rope. Time flew by.  Effective, for both muscle endurance and cardio.

The DVD title indicates this is an upper body workout but with Michael Olajide you just know it's a given that your calves, thighs and butt will get hit hard. This workout is awesome, with two minute jump segments alternating with two minute toning segments. Who knew 1lb weights could be so effective? By the time I got to the "circles" my arms felt like they were going to fall off. I am hopeless with a jump rope but truly, you don't need one. The workout flows nicely, and it's over in about three quarters of an hour. Just start jumping and listening to Michael's smooth, encouraging instruction and you'll get it done and feel great! Hoping to see Round Two Lower Body offered here soon.

I love and have all of Michael's workouts. This one is a new and fresh favorite! I love the simple but very effective jump rope sections. I use a cordless weighted jump rope as I workout in my basement. I also the simple upper body sections too. Fun workout and time flew by. I do not monitor calories.. but sure I got one heck of a burn after this one! This video will be getting a lot of use!

This was the first time I did this workout and wow, that was fun.  It alernates jumping rope segements with upper body work weights I used 1 lb because you are supposed to use light weights for punching etc.  Those light weights used for punching will kill your shoulders, delts, and tri's. This just goes to show that boxing is a great workout and you do not need loads of equipment.  I used ropeless jump ropes because I am indoors and don't have an area clear enough to use a real jump rope without hitting stuff.  If you don't have a ropeless jump rope you can just use an imaginary one.   This is a great workout and would be good for travel with minimal equipment.  I have many Michael Olajide Jr  dvds and they are all amazing, love them all!
