Welcome to my BEGINNER WALKING series! These workouts are designed to let you hit all your step targets if you can't get outside, or just prefer to walk in the comfort of your own home. You will be walking at a comfortable pace so it is suitable for all fitness levels! The steps are easy to follow and make the time fly by because you aren't just doing traditional walking. Get ready to burn fat in a low intensity, low impact way! THE SET INCLUDES: 2500 Steps (22 min): you will step at a moderate pace for a total of 22 minutes. The exercises will change every 40 seconds with 10 seconds rest time in between. A great, all standing intro to my walking workouts with easy steps. 2700 Steps (24 min): you will step at a moderate pace for a total of 24 minutes. The exercises will change every 40 seconds with 10 seconds rest time in between. A no repeat workout with a large variety of stepping exercises! 2800 Steps (25 min): you will step at a moderate pace for a total of 25 minutes with a focus on core. The exercises will change every 40 seconds with 10 seconds rest time in between. You will see lots of twists, reaches and knee pulls to work every angle of your abs. 3000 Steps (25 min): you will step at a moderate pace for a total of 25 minutes using light hand weights to focus on toning the arms. The exercises will change every 40 seconds with 10 seconds rest time in between. Lots of easy to follow exercises with a lot of upper body variety! 3200 Steps (31 min): a mixture of faster and more moderately paced 40 second intervals with 10 seconds rest. This one takes it up a notch with a few more combination moves as well as some higher intensity options if you want them. What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Get ready to sweat, puff and burn - hopefully you'll love every minute of it! |
