I really enjoyed this dvd! There are 4 sets of 3 drills.  The drills are 30 seconds, and there is a 15 second rest between each drill.  Each set is repeated 3 times with a long recovery between each set.  The final minutes are all 12 drills done back to back.   I still felt that the break between sets was a little longer than what I would like, but the ending made up for this. I love how she shows the 3 levels of intensity. Great job!

I really enjoy this workout. It's tough but it's not going to massacre you. I like to alternate this with one of Cathe's Hiit, Tabata, or XFire/TTM on my "intense" day. Love that Amy has combine a variety of easy to learn moves that will get your heartrate up quickly. Also, she made this for all fitness levels--three versions of the same move. Very accessible to everyone. This one gets my HR up, but if it starts becoming too intense, you have the option to move down to one of the less-intense versions. My only beef with this one is the plank type moves mixed in. I guess it's the trend in workouts (Cathe, et.al., use them). Being in my early 50s, I don't go from upright to horizontal as easily as I did in earlier decades. haha! Regardless, I can either follow the modifier or make up my own upright move as a sub. I highly recommend this one---it's versatile and you could use it even on a less-intense day.

I love how you can grow into this dvd because there are 3 different challenge levels. The moves are easy to figure out and do to get your heart rate up. You will find that the time flies because you are enjoying the challenge and it helps having the times. Amy is a stellar instructor that makes you want to keep going and do your best.

I like this workout and would recommend it for just about any fitness level. The workout is divided into segments and each segment includes one exercise done at three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. This allows you to pick the level that works for you, which may vary from move to move. Each move is done for three rounds with a short rest in between, and then you move on. It ends with a finisher, where you string all the moves together for a long 6 minute push. You can burn a lot of calories at the intermediate and advanced level and, if done regularly, this workout will increase your cardio capacity significantly. I don't usually like workouts with repeating segments, but this one holds my attention better than most. Amy is a good instructor, queues well, does the workout with you, and is very motivating.
