It is not for beginners. I did the yoga in bed which is a nice wake up stretch. I then did the Flow and enjoyed it. It does move a little fast so it will take a couple of times before I have it down. She does show modifications and then moves into a more advanced version of a pose. I found Koya very encouraging. I am so glad I followed my instincts and ordered this DVD.

Not for beginners.

I wasn't sure if I should rate this as Good or Average. It's not a bad routine and the instructor does briefly touch down on modifications, but I'm mystified as to why this would be marketed as a beginner's program, especially when some of the moves are actually advanced. I've been doing yoga for a few years now and I wasn't able to do a lot of the poses, partly because she didn't really explain how to ease into them and I felt I could hurt myself.
Perhaps I'll have an easier time trying out the advanced poses once I've done the routine a few more times, but my advice is to buy this DVD only if you're at least at an intermediate level and you recognize your limits (AKA you know when a pose could cause you injury or if you're pushing yourself too much).

I don't understand how this DVD can be titled as 'for beginners'. It is not, in my view a yoga practice for any beginner. Watch the clip carefully before deciding if this is for you.
