Welcome to the Endurance 50 Series. These workouts use intervals of 50 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest to build your endurance, strength, fitness, co-ordination and stability. The workouts are designed to fully fatigue your muscles and to take you to another level of focus and technique. Your brain will be challenged and your muscles will feel the burn, but don't worry, there are always modifications available.

The 4 Workouts are:

1 + 2 = 3 (33 mins) you will do 30 rounds of 50 seconds of work with 10 seconds rest. Every third round is a combination of the first two rounds. Lots of rotational moves in this one, up and down moves to elevate the heart rate, as well as balance challenges. You will see some down dog exercises using the chair and of course handstands!

Burn (34 mins) you will do 5 exercises per side before switching. The first 5 exercises include a lot of squats and lunges with leg raises to heat up the body. The next 5 exercises include down dog leg raise and all 4s variations as well as mini handstands, and the last 5 exercises focus on upper body and core with push up, side plank and laying abs exercise sequences.

Tone It (35 mins) you will do 30 rounds of 50 seconds of work with 10 seconds rest. Lots of combination and up and down moves in this one to spike the heart rate. You will also see the endurance series signature handstands with modifications shown throughout.

Shape Up (34 mins) you will start with lots of lunges, squats and leg raises to heat up the entire body. Then move to inverted exercises including down dog with leg raises and lunges. Next a series of handstands combined with more squats and kicks and finish on the mat with core focused combinations of leg raises and more mini handstands. Modifications shown throughout!

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Get ready to sweat, puff and burn - hopefully you'll love every minute of it!
