I kept seeing this DVD and was intrigued by the claims that Ripped 1000 burns up to 1000 calories. After months I took the plunge and bought the 4 DVD set and am not dissappointed. O.K, the name Jari Love - Get Ripped is quite laughable, I also wondered if I´d be able to do the workout as they are long and heavy weights are used but I can! and Jari is lovely, really encouraging, the thought of doing 70 push-ups is scary, but the way she does it (16, then 14, then 12 etc) makes it so doable. With Get Ripped 1000, it has cardio intervals which make my herat rate soar and boy do I sweat!!! After doing the workout I´m done for the day, no need to do anything else. I love the fact that she uses heavy weight AND lots of reps. none of this Tracy Anderson ´no more than 3 pound weight´ theory, that´s rubbish! Jari uses heavy weights and is not at all bulky! And no, Get Ripped 1000 doesn´t burn 1000 calories (not for me anyway) but it´s a fab workout, all of them are, I am going to alternate and do these workouts 3 times a week. Buy it, I recommend it!

I have been a Firm Believer and follower for years and took a chance on this set. Mostly because of reviews from other exercises on forums and the price was reasonable. I have not been disappointed
