Jari does mostly compound exercises in this DVD, which is a good thing.  Mimics actual activities you do.  I don't know about anyone else, but I don't sit around the house doing only biceps curls!  But I do squat down, pick up a grocery bag, and then have to lift it.  There is a lot of talk about burning carbs, but I can get past that.  After each exercise there is some stretching done and then a description of the next exercise.  This does give you time to get a drink of water should you need it or wipe off the sweat.  To me, I liked the description so I knew which weights I should use.

This DVD does show you the weights Jari uses.  This is a good overall total body workout.  Modifications are shown.

This is a thorough total body strength dvd that has a pretty big cardio component. Like the previous reviewer, I'm not a fan of compound work, but for some reason it's doable in this one, mostly because I can tell it is really working me out. An earlier one from Jari which has a lot of weight moves on the step, but can be modified and done on the floor.

Another great high rep/low(er) weight installment from Jari Love!  This workout is billed as using compound (i.e. upper + lower body either at the same time or in alternating succession) exercises to increase calorie burn.  I don't usually like compound exercises (I find them uncomfortable or awkward), but I like this one!  Jari does a great job pairing exercises that aren't awkward together.  

Other things I liked: lots of good shoulder work, lots of good leg work, and several variations on the exercises (e.g. using dumbbells or barbells; more advanced and more novice).

My only wish is that Jari included a little more biceps and triceps work.
