These 3 workouts are each a great workout. I tried this workout because I had to start somewhere. I had never exercised regularly in my life. I figured, "Heck, I can do 20 minutes of exercise."  I believed the myth that exercising longer=Quicker results.
It was brutal at first but I gave it my all-full exertion. After 1 week, I felt better. After 1 month, I had muscle definition. After two months, I added heavier weighs and cycled the three workouts. Today when I do these workouts, I sweat and pant like a beast. I still give it my full efforts eg. high knee as high and fast as I can, deeper push ups on my toes, crunches with weights...(My calorie burn usually reads 250-300)
This was the first DVD I was able to stick with. It has  transformed my body for good. Now that I am fit, I have tried other advanced DVDs but the length and the speed of the exercises caused some joint pain and turned me back to shorter workouts with high intensity.

It is not that I could not do the moves in this one, but the speed sacrifices form... First segment made me think this is great, but the second segment made me want to throw it in the trash...I do not need bad knees.  This one is not for me because I guess that I am not in good enough condition for it...

I'm not a big Jillian fan, but I don't have any issues with her either. I have tried quite a few of her DVDs and like some of them. This one, however, I find to be over-hyped. This DVD has 3 short workouts, all formatted the same way: 3 min strength, 2 min cardio, and 1 min abs. For me, the layout just feels too stop-and-start. Also, there's too much rest and not enough intensity for me. I also don't like that one of the back up exercisers noticeably cheats during some of the exercises. There are better DVDs out there.
