4 of 5 Why the musician but challenging just the same September 20, 2014

The one thing that i don't like about this DVD is that the musician is shown so much.  I didn't buy the DVD to see his equipment -- I want to see how the exercises are being performed

Modifications are shown.  At one point she does mention the "360 armband" that calculates your calorie burn.  I was afraid that she'd be trying to sell that item, but she isn't.  I did both workouts and it was only mentioned the one time.

There are two 45 minute workouts.  I did find that the intervals weren't long enough for me to find the appropriate weight for me.

You will need at least three dfferent size weights for this DVD.  There are about 8 to 10 circuits (I couldn't keep track) but then you repeat them all.

There is a lot of plyo in section 2, but one of the exercisers does not do them.

I love the moves in this one they are fun and new. I love the creativity and the challenge of trying to learn them. Jillian is better in her personality in this one.The thing that routines this one is having the DJ there and showing him. I can't get past that too bad.

Jillian puts together really interesting moves - in Hard Body I think she put together moves that are creative for the sake of being creative. Some where hard to follow and I couldn't get into a flow with them. She does all the moves in one long circuit and then you repeat the entire thing a second time. This is a very challenging workout and will definitely get your heart rate up. Sometimes the camera panned away from the exercisers and it was hard to follow. I'm not sure what was up with the DJ, why include him?
