Walk to the Hits features hit music and High Intensity Interval Training (aka HIIT) it's the perfect combination! Hit music pumps up your pace, and HIIT training alternates between bursts of all out effort and periods of recovery, allowing you to walk a shorter session and blast away as many calories as you would in a longer one.

A study published in The Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness showed that women who completed a 12 week HIIT program lost more weight than a group who performed longer sessions of moderate intensity cardio. The HIIT group also lost more belly fat. In short, walking to the hits using HIIT training is a sure-fire way to fire-up your walk!

For this program, Leslie took some of her favorite party songs and combined them with fresh new Walk At Home moves to create a 3 mile walk like none other. It's pure party energy!! I am a product of the 80s and enjoyed songs that I recognized like "We Got The Beat" and "Dancing On the Ceiling". There were several songs with vocals and several that were instrumental only. Leslie seems to prefer instrumental music when she is trying to instruct and they seemed to go with instrumental music when she felt that was important in the workout.

To me, this workout had an energy that has been missing from some of Leslie's other newer workouts. She is definitely "on" in this workout and the background exercisers seemed to be really energized. They were mainly on the younger end of the age spectrum and some of them could (and did) move and groove in this workout. It had a dancier feel than many of Leslie's other workouts.

This is a great Leslie workout- good music, fast paced, new moves-If you loved her first Walk to the Hits-you will also love this! She is really ramping up the fun factor and variety lately! Nice background exercisers- a variety of people. So good!
