Welcome to my QUICK Series. These workouts are short and sharp, designed for those who have a busy schedule or to be mix and matched to create a longer routine. They take things up a notch with the use of various equipment to increase the burn. There are a lot of unique exercises that are unconventional, but highly effective. You will feel the burn and see the changes! THE SET INCLUDES: Advanced Abs (18 min): uses long levers which make the exercises more intense. Lots of angle changes and leg raise variations to hit every part of your core. Ankle Weights Lower (17 min): Lots of angle changes and unique exercises that will keep your brain engaged while your muscles are burning. Broomstick Lower (16 min): use the broomstick to create extra instability for your core to fire whilst working your lower body. You will start with a pretzel segment, then move into all 4s and finally a side kneeling with leg raises and extensions. Cardio Upper (18 min): you will do lots of different arms exercises combined with easy-to-follow lower body steps. Get your steps in and your arms burning with this fun, Mini Ball Arms (16 min): Lots of unique moves in this one, using the ball like you have never used it before! There's lower body engagement as well as bonus core work, all in a standing position. Side Body (15 min): you will start in all 4s position with angled leg extensions and raises that will work your core at the same time as your lower body, then move into a side laying clam shell series with lots of muffin top work. Finish with a fun twisting thigh series. Slender Arms (16 min): Lots of reps and angle changes, this stretch sculpt workout will improve shoulder mobility while toning your arms, chest and upper back. Lots of bonus core work with twisting movements too. Table Top Glutes & Arms (17 min): Use the chair to help support your torso and keep you in alignment as you perform various glute raises and arm exercises to challenge stability and strength. What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Get ready to sweat, puff and burn - hopefully you'll love every minute of it! |
