I love Tracy Effinger's athletic take on barre. This is a very original DVD, from the exercises themselves, to the way the video switches back and forth between different locations — probably to take your mind off the pain! “Squeeze” was originally released in 2007, and has certainly stood the test of time.
This is Tracy’s first DVD, and it’s not perfect. Some of the premixes are set up oddly, for example, in the “Power Squeeze” workout, you perform three minutes of standing stretches before you have performed any lower body work, and the lighting is a bit too dark in the segment where she has her feet on the wall to see the exact position of her feet. But these are minor quibbles — the DVD is well-chaptered, and provides plenty of options to customise your own workout.
Tracy is a very engaging and enthusiastic instructor who provides precise instructions.
