This is one of those DVDs I tried hard to like, but could never get into. I actually bought it, traded it, re-acquired it, then traded it again. The first section provides a wonderful standing stretch which always left me feeling taller. But I eventually gave up on "Reach" because Kari’s dry, schoolmarm demeanour grated on me so much.

In short, I would only recommend this DVD to diehard Kari Anderson fans.

This was my first Kari Anderson video and I really enjoy it.  I use it when I want a challenging workout but I don't want cardio.  

This workout really works to tone your lower body with standing and floor segments.  Additionally, the balance work in the video is great too.  I also really enjoy that this is a no equipment workout that can still fry you.  In "int-adv" rating is well-deserved in my opinion.

If you have issues with your lower back, be careful with this one... By being extra careful through one standing segment, this one is doable for me... I enjoy this workout, but I must modify through part of this one... very good workout!

this is not my usual type fitness fare but I got this as a Total Fitness DVD "Deal of the Day" and am very happy with it - Ms. Anderson keeps a good pace and provides EXCELLENT instruction - a trained dancer, she knows all the tricks, telling you what to do AND what NOT to do!  A winner!

An excellent workout. My first Kari Anderson DVD and I love it. It's long, it gets the heart rate up, it's challenging, I sweat and I know I've worked hard when I'm finished. Kari is a no-nonsense instructor who does a great job of leading the workout. The minimalist setting helps to concentrate the attention where it needs to be. "Reach" is the perfect title because that's what the routine asks of us physically and mentally. It really feels like an achievement to complete the workout.

This is a phenomenal workout! This has everything, muscle toning, stretch, balance, core work. Even though it's not considered cardio, I think there is a little cardio benefit because my heart rate does go up while doing this workout. And I'm dripping with sweat by the end! I feel energized, yet relaxed afterwards and I can always tell the next day when I've done Reach!
