5 of 5 Excellent Workout With Variety August 1, 2014

I really enjoyed this workout. The workout requires dumbbells (Cathe uses 5 & 8 lbs), resistance tubing, Dixie cups, sliding discs & a mat. Cathe's instruction is superb as always and the many transitions & equipment changes go by flawlessly. Her recovery time between exercises is quick so my heart rate didn't slow down much. I substituted dumbbells for one of the resistance tubing exercises, because I'm not a huge fan of tubing (I had one break on me once & boy, did it hurt!). I only did the main workout & exerted about 350 calories in about 47 minutes time according to my heart rate monitor. I enjoyed this workout & will definitely keep it in my rotation.

This is a good choice for those days when I don't know whether to do cardio or weights. There is lots of variety and it feels like it's over in ten minutes. The whole X-Train series is so much better than much of what Cathe has released in the past few years.

I love that there is such a great premix selection that gives you so many different workouts in one dvd. There are many pieces equipment used I love everything except the small band it rolls around like mad. I just do the walking squats without and still get a great burn. The music is fantastic in this one. A really great use of your money on this one.

Easily one of my favorite MWT workouts.  Nothing repetitious about the workout, perfect pace, lots of variety, does use a fair amount of equipment, but Cathe-fans usually have everything already.  Consists of different moves that get you to the point of burn, but then you move to the next section.  Great production value, music, cueing, premixes.  Versatile.

This is a time-effective, no-nonsense strength workout. One of my favorites, and done right, it burns the muscles. The reps are at a pace that allows you to heavy up, and thank goodness, uses the bench instead of the stability ball. This is one of Cathe's bests, in my opinion (I have all her workouts).

I love this workout.  I have many of Cathe's DVDs and on this one not only are the variations superb, but she has added incredibly innovative core exercises that work the entire body.  I highly recommend this DVD.
