4 of 5 A No Boredom Dvd April 21, 2015

I have completed this dvd 2x and do like it.  From an advanced perspective, I have to disagree with other reviewers.  I don't think this is very hard at all.  Towards the end, my heart rate had come down.  If I compare it to her original HIIT dvd, it doesn't come close as far as an intensity challenge goes. But, I kind of like that once in awhile.  I was comfortably winded during this workout.  I expected the Tabata to really get my heart rate up, but it didn't.  I like that she doesn't spend a long time on an interval and the use of the band doing intervals was new to me.  The core work was ok.  I didn't like the fake lyrics  and I am a music person.  I have to say, Cathe seemed a little out of shape in this one. For Cathe, that is.  I will use it often though because of how fast it move and when I want a lighter workout.

5 of 5 Very difficult, fun workout July 30, 2014
Reviewer: Eva Markowitz from Sterling, VA United States
This is one of Cathe's most difficult workouts, hands down. It is high-impact throughout, and many of the moves are not easy to find a low-impact modification for, so unless you like to do high-impact/plyo this may not be the workout for you.
However, if you like plyo, then this workout has a lot of variety, and will definitely get your heart pumping. The first segment focuses mainly on drills each done for a period of time, and then you run through the circuit and repeat them. I'm not a fan of the repetition personally, but if that does not bother you, then again, you'll love this workout.
The latter part of this workout combines compound moves that are lower impact and use weights to keep the heart rate up.

4 of 5 Definitely a challenge July 30, 2014
Reviewer: Jody from United States
I have to say, I think this is one of Cathe's hardest workouts, and I have the majority of them.  There is plenty of variety, but the workout includes lots of plyo and tabata moves, which really leave you breathless, especially when she adds that blue fire walker band.  The great part is that there are so many premixes with varying lengths that you can work your way up to doing the whole workout.  Cathe needs to continue doing this, as it really helps when you are short on time, and it helps bring in more fans who normally wouldn't do her workouts because they can't maintain that type of intensity for 60 minutes.  I always have a huge sense of accomplishment after finishing this one, because it really kicks my behind!

This is not a low impact workout in anyways but so effective and fun. I loved the warrior move different fun. There are lots of jumping and running that will make you sweat/burn.  Love the tabata blast. You have to get this one to take to the next level.

5 of 5 A super sweatfest! July 18, 2014
Reviewer: RedPanda from Australia
"CrossFire" is metabolic weight training at its finest. It's also lots of fun, with great music and varied moves which makes the time fly. I particularly like the gliding disk work.

The generous pre-mixes make this a very versatile DVD.

5 of 5 Love this workout! July 16, 2014

This is a great cardio (metabolic) workout.  My HR stays in a good med-high zone, lots of variety so absolutely no boredom, flies by and I actually am always sad when I realize it is over!  Great chapters and premixes to customize what you want.  Good music and cueing.

5 of 5 Great workout! July 7, 2012
Reviewer: Angela (gigi or gogigi on the forums) from Greenville, SC United States
What makes this an exceptional workout?  It's tough, yet doable.  It is easy to modify the intensity up or down.  It is chaptered perfectly so you can do one or a few segments at a time.  It offers a plethora of premixes and the menu tells what is included in each premix.  It flies by because you are never doing one move for more than 30 seconds or more than 12 or 16 reps.  The tunes are MUCH better than what Cathe has been using lately.

This workout is versatile and it has bonus footage to boot.

I'll be enjoying this for a long time to come!!!
