GET ALL 5 STRENGTH WORKOUTS Welcome to the STRENGTH SERIES, 5 workouts to sculpt your entire body. Using light and heavier weights as well as a resistance band for some of the workouts you will super set, pyramid and drop set your way to a tight, toned body! THE WORKOUTS ARE: Chest and Shoulder (40 mins): Using traditional strength training exercises such as upright rows, shoulder raises and chest flies as well as resistance band work and lighter weights work you will build lean muscle mass and definition. Back (42 mins): This workout will sculpt your back from all angles. Using a stability to create instability you will activate your core and provide larger range of motion. If you don’t have a ball then just use a bench of chair! Biceps and Triceps (46 mins): You will alternate slower more controlled heavy weights exercises with slightly higher repetitions, fast paced lighter weights and band work. Abs (45 mins): This workout will help you build lean muscle mass and definition in your obliques, upper and lower abs. The last portion of the workout is on the mat, but don't be fooled, it doesn't get easier! Lower (44 mins): Using medium and heavy dumbbells you will see lots of combination moves in this routine. The pace is fast to keep your heart rate high and the fat burning! About the instructor: Hi, I'm Linda - creator of Barlates Body Blitz. Let's go work out together! What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
