RapidFire: Results the second in the Power Optimizing Workouts series, is a challenging workout for the serious at home exerciser.

Whether you are intermediate or advanced, the kickboxing combinations, drills, metabolic weight segment and ab routine will keep you engaged and coming back for more time and time again. Led by 5th degree black belt Tae Kwon Do Master, AFAA certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Susan Chung, this workout is designed to improve your cardio endurance, build lean muscle, strengthen your core and teach you great kickboxing technique. You'll be having so much fun with the unique kickboxing combinations and kicking drills that you won't realize how many calories you're burning or how much you're sweating!

The workout starts with an energizing warm up followed by 6 "Rounds". Rounds 1-4 are the main cardio rounds and each includes an intense kickboxing combination followed by a challenging cardio kicking drill that's sure to keep your heart rate up.


Round 5 is a metabolic weight segment which will give your metabolism a serious boost! Compound exercises incorporate both large and small muscle groups combined with kicks to add even more intensity.


Round 6 is an awesome ab segment featuring both standing core and floor work. Finally, you'll enjoy a revitalizing, relaxing stretch.


"RapidFire :Results" will ignite your workout and get you into great shape fast. The workout includes a basic modifier for those who want a no impact workout and an advanced modifier for the experienced kickboxer.

Effective workout that will leave you burning. I love the way it is easy to follow and keep up with but still get a solid workout in. I love the Med ball and weight work. Real good use of your money get this dvd.

This is a fast paced kickboxing workout with some toning & abs mixed in. The first four rounds are kickboxing followed by small toning & cardio bursts. The fifth round is more toning with weights & the sixth round focuses on abs. Susan cues well, but she doesn't put much power behind her shots. I think that's because her workout pace is so quick. I loved the kicks. I was glad she included both a beginner & advanced modifier. I did have to modify a bit since I was on carpet & afraid I would tweak my knees on some moves. I used 1 lb hand grips for the cardio section & 3 to 5 lb dumbbells for the toning section. For the ab section I used a 4 lb medicine ball. I'll probably have to do this workout a few times to get all of the moves down pat. My heart rate monitor said I burned just under 500 calories so it's a keeper for me.

The workout is done in rounds.  The first four are kickboxing.  Susan  teaches it add on style.  You do one side, a kickbox drill followed by the second side. When that side is done its done. No going back later. There are both low and higher impact moves  Round five is metabolic training with kickbox elements.  The last is  standing and floor core.  The Rapid Fire workouts are now my favorite kickbox workouts.

This was my firt time doing this workout and I loved it. I didn't find the combos too be too tricky.  There was a kick sequence that I stumbled on a few time, but I'm sure the next time will be a lot easier.   The weight section was a slower pace, but flowed well with the rest of the workoout.   The ab section at the end was short but tough. I do a lot of ab work, and this section still left me with DOMS the next day due to all the unique moves.

it might take you a few times to get the combos down but once you do, this is one killer, seamless workout!  RapidFire indeed - the music keeps the beat and the moves are non-stop.  The toning is "rapidfire" too, ensuring a continued cardio effect.  Nicely done abs section using a medicine ball or weight.
