Welcome to the Target 15 series. You will target all your problem areas with 15 rounds of 60 second intervals. You will add extra equipment to some of the exercises to increase the burn even more. The workouts are easy to follow, but tough to do. They require very little space and guarantee results if you do them on a regular basis.
THE SET INCLUDES:
Squats & Raises (16): you will get your heart rate up and your muscles burning with some fast paced squat variations and targeted leg raises.
Ankle Weights (16): you will use ankle weights to increase the intensity of unique mat exercises that will target every muscle in your lower body as well as engage the core and arms.
Standing Abs (16): you will use a stability ball to increase the intensity of some innovative standing abs exercises. You will see a lot of oblique work and balance challenges to work every muscle in your core.
Weighted Upper (16): you will use a stability ball and a variety of hand weights to target your arms, shoulders, chest and back. Lots of combination moves and angle changes to keep it interesting.
Full Body (17): you will use plank variations in combination with exercises such as crouches, back reaches, down dogs and oblique twists to work the entire body.
Abs (17): you will use a resistance loop to increase the intensity of Pilates style abs exercises such as reverse curls, crunches and twists in all directions.
Arms (16): you will start with some larger range of motion compound exercises, then move to the mat, a thigh dancing segment and finally a seated segment to finish the burn.
Glutes (16): you will use a stability ball to intensify seated, standing and mat butt exercises that will help you lift and tighten your booty.
Barre (16): you will work your entire body with high energy compound moves. There are barre squats and calf raises, wide plie exercises engaging arms and abs and a tough curtsy lunge set.
Mat (17): you will use a pilates ball, loop and light weights to sculpt your entire body all on the mat. Get ready to burn! About the instructor: Hi, I'm Linda - creator of Barlates Body Blitz. Let's go work out together! What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
