5 of 5 Great yoga workout even if you don't like yoga July 2, 2014
Reviewer: Kristie from Decatur, GA United States
I must admit I don't like yoga that much. I have a hard time getting into the more traditional yoga routines because they seem kind of boring. This workout has begun to change my mind. I enjoyed it the first time I did it, and it's easing me into other yoga workouts (mainly by Rodney Yee). There are 3 main routines which you can program into whatever combination you want that day. The first routine is all body weight driven. The last two combine added weight with a medicine ball or hand weights. I used hand weights instead of the ball. If you are new to yoga, ease into it. Get used to the pressure on your wrists and work into the poses. You have time to adjust with each pose, and you get a very refreshing workout. As always, Bob is a wonderful instructor. He has fun with the participants and I enjoy the flow he put together. It is suggested to alternate with Biggest Loser Boot Camp which I also own and enjoy.

4 of 5 Athletic Power Yoga January 29, 2010
Reviewer: Alison from NC
Boy, this workout is no joke!  Very challenging.  I enjoy Bob's personality and the DVD is excellently chaptered (you can program any of the following to create your own workout: warm-up, 3 segments, cool-down/stretch.)  At it's shortest, you can get a 20 min workout (warm-up, 1 segment, stretch)....at the longest, it is about an hour.  The first 2 segments use body weight, while the last segment uses hand weights.  Many versions of modifications are shown in the background participants (Biggest Loser players).  I enjoy this and always have some soreness from it (this has some good plank series).
