I really like this workout. It is one of my favourite classic Firm workout DVD's. It does say in the description that the barbell is optional, however, I don't see anyone on the DVD doing the workout without one (for modifications). I don't use a barbell for this workout, I use the hand weights all of the way through and place the hand weighs, during the barbell sections, where I think they should go. It's still very effective and I can really feel this workout the next day.

Do not let the low impact fool you. This is not an easy workout, especially when you get to the hover squats!! Ouch! Not as tough as Vol. 1 or 2 but you will still break a sweat.  Great for those days you need to ease up but still do something great for your body.
