GET ALL 4 TONE IT SERIES WORKOUTS Welcome to the TONE IT Series, a set of workouts that will lengthen and strengthen your entire body. The exercises utilize compound moves and functional training so that your mind is active and your muscles are used at all angles. Each grouping of exercises targets a specific muscle group so you will be fully fatigued before moving on to the next grouping. THE WORKOUTS ARE: High to Low (34 mins): in this workout you will perform a standing exercise, followed by a crouching exercise and finally a mat exercise. Each grouping of moves will target a different muscle group and there are lots of combination moves to keep your mind active. This is a total body workout! Lower (30 mins): will take you through standing and mat toning exercises such as lunges, squats, inner thigh raises, twisting plank moves, down dog glute raises and lots of interesting combinations to keep your mind active. Pyramid Sculpt (24 mins): will take you through standing and mat toning exercises such as lunges, squats, leg raises, plank knee pulls, lying side leg raises, reverse table top kicks and down dog glute raises. Each grouping has a pyramid style rep pattern to layer on the intensity. Tone it 30 (37 mins): In this workout you will perform 30 reps of each exercise. Some of the exercises are singles and others are compounded with a few different moves. There are standing and mat exercises that will work your entire body, but will predominantly focus on legs, butt and abs. About the instructor: Hi, I'm Linda - creator of Barlates Body Blitz. I have worked in the diet and fitness industry as an instructor and personal trainer for most of my career and have created close to 550 workout videos to bring my passion for exercise to you! Let's go work out together! What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
