What I saw when I viewed the clip were some good whole body moves with the medicine ball.  What you can't see from the video clip is the fact that there is NO cuing as to the next move(s).  She also goes at a very fast pace from one series of movements to the next (ie., only 4-6 repetitions then on to something else), so just as you're grasping what the particular movement is, she's on to the next variation.  Totally frustrating.  Oh, and I'm very coordinated and work out a great deal - this is not user error, but instructor error.  I'll be sending this one back and I rarely do that!

I did this workout two days ago, and I really enjoyed it so much! It was fun and challenging!  I used a 6 pounds soft medicine ball and it is incredible how much heavier it felt after 20 minutes in!  I loved the basketball moves, there were some kettlebell exercises like windmills and half get ups as well.  A great total body cardio-toning workout and I felt it the next day!

Tracie Long always puts her own stamp on her workouts; they are fresh and creative with a functional fitness feel, incorporating balance, agility, core strength and rotational movements. “Break Through” continues this theme — in fact, I recognised some of the moves, such as “stir the pot” from her earlier, functional fitness-focused Tracie Long Training DVDs.

I really enjoy med ball work, and this is an area where Tracie shines. “Break Through” incorporates the med ball well, and also includes some fun standing balance work. This is a short, fun routine which makes a great add-on.

I like Tracie but don't usually like med ball workouts. This one was fun for me, though, and I attribute that to Tracie varying the moves so much that I didn't get bored. At just over thirty minutes the time is right, too. I use a four pound ball and like to pair this workout with a shorter leg workout the same day. Tracie's instruction, cueing, and form is right on. She never leaves you hanging.

This is a fun sweaty workout! She keeps you moving and the moves are interesting. I used a 3 lb ball. I could have gone heavier but with the speed it didn't feel as safe for my low back. Even with using a lighter ball I still felt it the next day. Tracie is a great cuer and her form is impeccable. You get a lot of moves for 30 min and that's what I love about this series. Another winner!
