Tracey is really good at explaining what is going on with your body as you do the movements. This will burn your legs great use of towels to increase your range of motion. I love that she uses different tempos to get the most out of your workout.

Tracie Long always puts her own stamp on her workouts; they are creative with fresh moves and a functional fitness feel (think balance, agility, core strength and rotational movements). “Lift Higher” follows in that tradition: this lower-body focused workout includes plenty of moves which will test your balance and agility, as well as work the smaller, often neglected, muscles of your lower body.

The DVD is well-chaptered into three 10-minute segments. The second chapter is devoted to Tracie’s “ragwork” (you can use gliding disks if you are working out on carpet). This chapter makes a great add-on.

I particularly like the bright, colourful set in these “Focus” DVDs. As always, Tracie's cueing and form are impeccable and she never wastes a moment.

Tracy Long has been a favorite of mine for years ,and she does an amazing job on this leg/glute DVD. It's broken up into 3 ten minute sections which you can do alone or together. The first one is standing, the second is with a rag/gliding disc, and the third is floor work. It works different muscles than the same old, and Tracy gives pointers how to make it more difficult or easy. Tracy has impeccable cueing and is so very likable. My only negative is I didn't care for the music in the first 10 minutes. Very trivial. I just prefer having a music off choice for repeated use.
