Welcome to my Train and Talk Volume 1 series. These workouts are designed to give you a large variety of training styles to work your body, whilst also stimulating your mind with chats about health and fitness related topics. The exercises are easy to follow and modifications are shown throughout. THE SET INCLUDES: Intuitive Eating (33 min): a full body workout using light hand weights to work the upper body whilst performing lunge and squat exercises with the lower body. You will then hit the mat to do abs exercises. The exercises change every 60 seconds to give you lots of time to feel the burn. Aches and Pains (37 min): a full body workout using hand weights and resistance loop band. It is an all standing workout with intervals of 45 seconds of work with 15 seconds of rest. Bone Density (28 min): a full body workout using hand weights and resistance loop band. It is an all standing workout. The workout is 40 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest. Flow State (49 min): a full body workout using a resistance loop band and an optional elevation. It is a mat workout where the exercises flow one into another - no timer. Not Too Late/Don’t Settle (31 min): uses light and medium weights to work the upper body, interspersed with cardio intervals to burn fat. It is a 50 seconds of work 10 seconds rest routine, with low impact cardio and effective upper body exercises. This routine is all standing. Skinny Happy? (36 mins): a full body workout using hand weights and resistance loop band. It is an all standing workout apart from the last few minutes of abs on the mat. The workout is 40 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest. What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Get ready to sweat, puff and burn - hopefully you'll love every minute of it! |
