5 of 5 Nice, no-dread workout in under 30 minutes November 30, 2012

My husband and I quit our longtime kettlebell studio membership and are working out at home together, so we're * not * kettlebell beginners.  However, this is a great little workout for days we are pressed for time.  I'm an advanced exerciser who doesn't usually like kettlebell "lite" workouts but find I can get a decent workout with this one by using heavier bells (15 - 35 lbs., depending on the exercise).   My husband particularly likes this one because he's always pressed for time in the mornings & Kettlebell for Beginners can get him in & out in less than 30 minutes.  There's absolutely no dread with this workout. Paul Katami is a fine, likeable instructor.  The exercises are quite easy to follow yet effective.  (We don't like stepping side by side while swinging a kettlebell, so we just do standard swings while standing in place.)  NOTE:  True beginners should probably only use a 10 lb. - 15 lb. kettlebell for this.
