1 of 5 Disappointed :( July 26, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from United States
This DVD was listed under the barre workout section.  I really wouldn't consider it a barre workout since there was only a few minutes of standing barre leg work.  The production quality is not very good.  My DVD skips the warm up section every time.  It plays differently each time I play it.  Sometimes it skips and sometimes it doesn't.  I didn't like the music.  I didn't like the way the workout switched to different venues.  I did the workouts out individually and I didn't think they were that hard.  Maybe it would be if I did the entire workout at once.  I wasn't impressed with anything about this workout at all.

5 of 5 Tracy Kicked My Butt!! November 22, 2014
Reviewer: Aida Woodard from Teaneck, NJ United States
I did this workout in its entirety for the third time today. I usually do half of this dvd. It is a totally thorough body workout. I've been doing the upper body for a while now I see definition in my shoulders and biceps. My legs and glutes are sore and definitely worked. For the lower body there is barre and floor work. Ouch!  The abs are also quite thorough as well and you will feel it. There is also a lot if bridge work. The most fun part for me is the thigh dancing. If you do the entire workout you feel it from head to toe. There isn't a cardio factor do do that on a different day. I've been doing this for approx. three months and am very happy with it.

4 of 5 Certainly will give you a burn July 25, 2014

Again I loved this dvd when I knew no better on form. I love the production value the beautiful artistic style and Tracy. My concern is she does her moves so quickly that I worry about injury. I would this dvd now slower and more controlled let her go fast but I think its more important to engage your muscles and be form awera and controlled.

5 of 5 Tough! July 24, 2014
Reviewer: T from Tarpon Springs, FL United States
Tracy pulls out all the stops with this one. She's got a good camera presence and cues well. This is a high rep, low weight workout for the most part, and she goes at a speed that will make you get your sweat on. I get sore every time, especially from the side bends.

5 of 5 Love Tracy's style! July 13, 2014
Reviewer: RedPanda from Australia
Like Tracy Effinger's first DVD, this one has high production values. I love the way the video switches back and forth between different locations to keep it visually interesting.

I don’t like to work my upper body with barre-style exercises, so the way the DVD is set up suits me fine. I do the “Lower Body & Abs” workout for an intense 45-minute reshaping session.

Tracy is a very engaging and enthusiastic instructor who provides precise instructions.

5 of 5 Nice Variety December 31, 2013
Reviewer: KA from Rochester, NY United States
I enjoyed this DVD but it wasn’t what I expected.  There really is no true cardio.  It is a toning workout.  When the arm section began doing three sets of each exercise, I assumed that pattern would continue for the whole DVD based on the “high reps” comment.  But, it didn’t which is great because it allowed for more variety.  There are definitely some unique moves (this is the only Tracy Effinger DVD I own).  I like “playing all” because the premixes have a cut beginning rather than beginning with a warm-up.  It is 80 min but it goes fast.  After using a heavier weight for the dead-lift warm-up, I used 5s and 8s for the biceps and 5s for the shoulders and 3s for some chest and triceps.  I consider myself “Advanced” and I felt it with those weights.

5 of 5 Awesome workout! October 27, 2009
Reviewer: Jayhawk fan from United States of America
I love this workout! I found the original Squeeze to be a bit on the easy side, but this new video really kicks it up a notch. Tracy leads you through an awesome workout that is tough, yet fun. I actually look forward to this workout!

This is a total body workout. The upper body is more "traditional" in nature, while the lower body is a traditional/barre/pilates mix.

I also love the fact that this video is visually interesting. It's not set in the typical boring studio, with one or two camera angles. There are a variety of camera angles, outfits, backgrounds, etc. I'm sure this makes it much more expensive to produce, but I really appreciate it.

Tracy looks amazing in this workout and she comes across as very down-to-earth and encouraging.

4 of 5 Squeeze to a Stronger Defined Body July 11, 2009
Reviewer: Phoenix the Runner from Atlanta, GA
Tracy is a wonderful instructor and I love her twist on a strength workout. She works the muscles from different angles this makes the burn factor more intense. From the first workout I know how quickly I will see results. The only drawback to the workout is the warm-up or lack thereof. The workout starts out with deadlifts with weights, not my idea of a warm-up. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. I have been doing the FIRM for years and have their warm-ups recorded in my mind. Other than that I hvae no other issues with the workout. I HIGHLY recommend this workout to anyone that is looking for a well defined body.

5 of 5 Kicking workout April 16, 2009
Reviewer: Mantragirl from San Francisco
This workout is no fooling arround, I'm a P90X, Chalean Extreme, Cathe's fan,6 days a week, body is sure to work hard and I'm also a Pilates teacher but this woman do manage to kill me with almost no weight.

A good hepl if you have no body awareness is using a Pilates or Callanetic ( a lot of the thight work comes from the Callanetic) DVD/book/teacher that explains you how to engage the right muscles and then the workout become harder and harder.
Not a beginner workout at all.
She doesn't explain a lot so be careful not to put all the pressure in the lower back or the neck while doing the upper body.

A good hard workout that make your muscles feeling workout and longer.Just like Pilates.

4 of 5 fun and tough workout November 27, 2008
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I didn't like the first squeeze because it wasn't challenging enough for me and it was almost completely lotte berk type moves which I find extremely boring but this is an excellent and tougher toning workout that combines more fun and different lotte berk inspired moves as well as more traditional toning exercises which make it a great versatile workout . The ab work and the side series are especially excellent and tough and there are great stretches throghout the workout. I gave it 4 stars only because I would prefer a more balanced upper body work as the back and chest doesn't get a lot of work and there is a very short pushup segment (which some of you may like but I love pushups (-:).
